Pasta Alla Puttanesca: Nonna Elda’s Secret Recipe

Nonna Elda remembers her mother making this recipe in Italy back in the 1940’s during and after WWII The children in the family would go out into the olive orchards and pick the olives that had fallen to the ground and bring them home to make Pasta Alla Puttanesca.

In better times this recipe is made especially late at night when unexpected guests arrive to play scopa around the fire. Delicious, easy, and quick, this recipe is perfect to feed unexpected or expected guests.
